Kol Rina Synagogue is located on 26 Beer Sheva Street in Nachalot. All are invited to our Shabbat Services every Friday evening and Shabbos Morning.

 Welcome to Kol Rina, a vibrant Carlebach shul in the heart of Nachlaot. Jews from all walks of life gather here to pray, sing, and celebrate in an atmosphere of holiness and joy. Led by Rabbi Baruch Rubanowitz, we continue the inspirational legacy of Rabbi Shlomo Carlebach.

 MISSION

Kol Rina Synagogue's mission is to serve as a spiritual home that celebrates Judaism through song, study and community engagement. Housed in a historical bomb shelter, our synagogue provides a unique blend of strength, protection, and spiritual nourishment! Kol Rina brings balance to all aspects of Judaism.

 Our Carlebach-style Kabbalat Shabbat fills the room with song, joy, and dancing—inviting the presence of Hashem and stirring deep connection. Shabbat day features earlier services, a community kiddush, creating space for rest, reflection, and meaningful relationships.

Kol Rina Revitalization Project 

 

Kol Rina is revitalizing our community and renovating our bomb shelter synagogue.  Donate Today! 

 

Air Conditioning — a new air conditioner is installed in the men and women's sections as well as the communal area. 

Seating — We're upgrading our seating both in the men's and women's section, as well as in the communal area! 

 

Bathrooms — We plan to renovate the bathroom, providing both a male and female bathroom. 

 

Kitchen — We want to create an inviting open kitchen area with a nice coffee and drink location for our guests and members. 

 

Building for the Future

Kol Rina is undergoing essential renovations to enhance our sacred space—partner with us to build a more welcoming, joyful sanctuary for all.

 

Ceiling — We are working with the municipality to fix the leaks in the ceiling. This is a major project that will take time.  We are also considering future expansion!

There's a lot of synagogues in Jerusalem, but not a lot of spiritual shuls, where the atmosphere elevates you and connects you with Hashem. For me, Kol Rina is not just a synagogue, in the heart of Nachalot, it's a gateway—a portal that connects me to Hashem and Hashem to me!  Attending Kol Rina is one of the greatest joys of my life.
